Rotary Clubs Team Up with Vibrant Hawaii to East Hawaii Feed Families at Nani Mau Gardens
In a heartwarming display of community spirit, Vibrant Hawaii spearheaded a significant service project at Nani Mau Gardens aimed at supporting families affected by the interruption of SNAP benefits. This initiative was a collaborative effort, with members of the Rotary Club of South Hilo and other East Hawaii Rotary Clubs joining forces to make a positive impact. With compassion and dedication, volunteers gathered to pack and distribute food to those in need. The project not only helped to address immediate food insecurity but also demonstrated the power of community organizations coming together for a common cause. This meaningful event underscored the resilience and generosity of the people of Hawaii, ensuring that families facing hardship could access essential resources during challenging times. The service project was held on three consecutive Wednesdays in November: November 05, 2025, November 12, 2025, and November 19, 2025.
