OSMD Hawaii Foundation founder Daryl “Sammy” Sampaga and Rotary District Governor Randy Hart address our August 16, 2022, club meeting. Sammy spoke of living with muscular dystrophy and about his foundation. Randy outlined Rotary's structure and vision.

About South Hilo

Rotary Club of South Hilo was founded in 1956 and celebrated it's 60th anniversary in 2016. Half of our nearly 30 members have been Rotarians for 10 years or more.

Rotary at a Glance

There are five Rotary Clubs in East Hawai'i with a combined membership of over 200 Rotarians. We are a dedicated group of professionals, civic leaders and students who regularly assist in projects that benefit our residents, schools, non-profit organizations and community at large.
